Document Workspace

An AI-native editor built for government proposals

Document Workspace is a purpose-built writing environment for government proposals. Unlike generic word processors, it understands the structure of federal proposals: technical approach volumes, management plans, past performance narratives, and cost/price sections. The AI assistant, powered by Mevin, helps you draft every section by pulling relevant content from your Vault of past proposals, performance records, and capability statements.

Key Capabilities

What it does

AI-Assisted Drafting

Mevin AI suggests draft language based on solicitation requirements and Vault content, with section-by-section guidance following Section L instructions and automated win theme insertion.

Vault Integration

Search past proposals by keyword, NAICS code, agency, or contract type, with auto-surfaced past performance narratives and a corporate capability statement library with drag-and-drop insertion.

Structured Data Handling

Auto-extract CLIN structure from Section B, pre-populate pricing tables with labor categories and quantities, and build compliance matrices linking proposal sections to solicitation requirements.

Export and Formatting

Word export with configurable headers, footers, page numbers, and section breaks; Excel export for pricing volumes and BOQ tables; and format templates matching common government submission requirements (DoD, civilian, IC).

How it Works

Simple steps to get started

1

Upload or link the solicitation

Mevin AI parses the requirements and Section L instructions.

2

Draft sections with AI assistance

Mevin suggests content from your Vault and past proposals for each section.

3

Build CLIN tables and compliance matrices

Auto-extracted solicitation data pre-populates structured tables.

4

Export to Word or Excel

Government-required formatting is applied for final submission.

Why it Matters

The problem this solves

When you start a new proposal section, Mevin AI scans the solicitation requirements and searches your Vault for the most relevant prior content. You edit, refine, and strengthen the AI-generated draft rather than starting from a blank page. BOQ and CLIN structures are auto-extracted from Section B and pre-populated into editable tables.
