PMP also matters for subcontract teaming. When a prime contractor reviews potential subcontractors' qualifications, the presence of PMP-certified project managers in the sub's personnel roster is a positive signal. Teaming agreements that list key personnel qualifications increasingly reference PMP as a condition for a subcontractor holding a particular role.
