Contract award data is the comprehensive public record of federal contract awards, captured in the Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG) and aggregated on USAspending.gov, containing detailed information about every federal contract award above the micro-purchase threshold, including who won, how much, from which agency, for what service or product, and under what competition type.

What is Contract Award Data?

FPDS-NG data has some known quality limitations, misclassified NAICS codes, data entry errors, and time lags in reporting, but it remains the most comprehensive public record of U.S. government procurement activity available.
